Direct Response Email Marketing – Intelligent Selling at Its Best

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

These ‘hot prospects’ are different from casual visitors because they already have a desire to buy and simply need the right marketing message for the click through.

Boosts Sales:

When conducted properly, direct response email marketing boosts sales figures significantly.

Surveys show that prospects are twice as likely to buy from you if you contact them regularly through email.

Establishes Brand Identity:

An email newsletter that offers useful information is the best way to establish your credibility and expertise in your chosen niche. Strong credibility encourages customer loyalty.

A Definite Call For Action:

Email messages trigger quick responses from interested customers.

Personalized and Interactive:

Direct response email marketing messages offer a wonderful way of interacting with customers and prospects in a more personal way.

You may send the latest news regarding products, services, campaigns and any free offers in your emails.

You can even ask for responses that help you improve your services or products.

Healthy interaction helps you bond with your customers and build longstanding customer loyalty.

Scalable and measurable:

By evaluating click through and conversion rates of your messages, you can assess the demographics and buying decisions of consumers.

This helps you sharpen your marketing strategies further.

The single biggest aim of your messages is to improve click through rates.

Useful tips, humor and engaging content compel prospects to take the necessary action that the marketing message calls for.

If you can make your prospects look forward to your message and emails, clinching the sale becomes the logical next step.

The role of direct response email marketing is not limited to clinching sales alone.

These messages offer a channel of communication with your client base even long after the sale is made.

Add-on offers, free tips or early notification of profitable deals add real value to the messages you send out.

In this way, you can ensure continuing customer loyalty and patronage. You can find out more information on direct response marketing at:

Email Marketing Secrets – How to Get a 20%-40% Open Rate For Your Emails!

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

You can make a lot of money from email marketing, but not if your subscribers don’t open your emails. When people tell you that the money is in the list, they are not telling you full story. Yes, you can make a lot of money from list building – if your subscribers open your emails and take the action that you want them to take.

If you want to get your opens opened, you will want to pay attention to this article. The three main factors in deciding the open rate of your emails are:

1. Your subject line. You need to write a killer subject line that grabs your subscribers’ eyeballs and ‘forces’ them to open your email. You’ve got to get them excited and curious to know what’s in your email. If you fail to do this, your email is destined for the trash folder.

2. The content of your email. Some words and phrases trigger spam filters in email providers and this prevents your email from being seen by your subscribers. Although your email may not be spam, email providers may perceive it as being spam due to the language used. Words like ‘income’, ‘click here’ and dollar signs can trigger these filters and cause your message to not be delivered properly.

3. The domain of your reply-to email. If the domain is blacklisted by Internet service providers, then there is a strong chance that your email will not get delivered or end up in a spam folder. The way to remain out of this list is to use legitimate email marketing tactics.

Email Marketing – 3 Necessary Tips For a Successful Email Marketing Campaign

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

Email marketing has come a long way over the past few years.  It used to be easy – just send your email to promote your products and it was automatically delivered. But, like all good things, it has become corrupted and spam has entered the marketplace.

Today, trying to get an email through to someone has become a real hassle.  Many people won’t even open their emails unless they are sure who the sender is.  They’re afraid that they might receive complete junk mail, porn or even a virus.

Even so, email is still a very effective form of marketing on the internet.  Just follow the rules and you should have no trouble.  Here are 3 email marketing tips that you should implement:

1) Your Opt-in List – If you are conducting an email campaign, be sure that everyone on your list has opted-in, i.e. voluntarily signed up to receive information from you.  This will give you proof that they signed up if you are ever accused of sending spam.

2) No Spam, ever! – Make sure that the information that you send in your email campaign is exactly what you promised your clients when they opted-in for your list.  Tell them up front what they will be getting from you in the future, e.g. upcoming sales, tips and information about your products, etc.  Do not abuse this or it can get you into big trouble.

3) Keep your list updated – remove any duplicate addresses on your list.  Many people will join your list two or even three times because they don’t recognize your name or because of different offers.  When people start getting duplicate email they usually don’t remember that they actually opted-in for each list and, at least, might just leave your list or, at worst, accuse you of spam.

An email campaign can be a very profitable method of online marketing as long as you play by the rules.

Direct Email Marketing – Hot Value at Cool Prices

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

Direct mail marketing is not a new concept. Flyers, postcards, and catalogs have been circulated through the mail for decades. But with direct email marketing, you can accomplish the same effect with better results, and at a cheaper price.

With either type of marketing you will have to purchase leads. It may be a bit surprising how similar pricing is for email versus snail mail leads. In fact, if you purchase your email leads in bulk without only name and email address, you can even get them cheaper.

In direct mail you have to design your sales materials and have them printed. The printing alone can cost quite a bit. Additionally, if you do not have the capability to design your own materials, you will have to pay for this as well. You then have to pay postage for all of the pieces to be delivered.

Direct email marketing can cost significantly less. The only thing you have to pay for besides your leads is a way to send the emails in bulk, as well as a way to manage opt-outs. The best and cheapest way to do this is through web-based subscription software, such as autoresponders.

There are other distinct advantages to direct email marketing besides cost savings. People have become so accustomed to receiving “junk mail” that they don’t even look at it or open it anymore. Some say that the same can be said of direct email marketing, but this is not always the case.

More and more people are now using email clients to receive and check their mail. These clients automatically open an email when it is highlighted, and the email may be read even if the user doesn’t actively open it. This puts your message in front of many more people than snail mail pieces can accomplish.
